About Us
We survived the first dotcom bubble with one of
the earliest web-based applications, ZyWeb which
is still going strong. Now
we want to bring the benefit of our skills and
experience to you with an exciting new product
that will, of course, be right at the top of
the Web 2.0 bubble!
If you want to know a little more history
about us…
ZyNet was formed in 1994 as one of the earliest
Internet Service Providers and later sold the Internet
connection service to a major cable company, enabling
it to focus on website services and design and
database integration.
In 1997, ZyNet became heavily involved in the
development of ZyWeb, a web-based page builder
that enables anyone to create a professional graphically
appealing website without the need for any design
or technical knowledge. ZyWeb was one of the earliest
website builders and won the Best ISP Product at
the Internet Industry awards in 1999. The product
still continues to grow.
In 2006, ZyNet started on the development of the
next generation of web page builder, called 350pages,
which deploys the latest Web2.0 technologies. A
free beta version for web site building was released
in May 2007.
And a look into the future…
350pages has been designed and is being developed
as a multi purpose page builder for building
websites, creating posters and images for use
in powerpoint.
350pages has many professionally designed templates
and different layouts which contain modules that
can be customized, resized and dagged and dropped
anywhere on the page. 350pages is unique with its
customizable graphics for buttons and headings
which also include rotating graphical text. 350pages
includes a comprehensive photo editor and a photo
uploader that compresses files upon upload. And,
of course, the hosted webspace is also included.
Following the release of the free version, subsequent
phases will provide the following functions:
- Photo galleries & slideshow
- Community functions
such as photo and web page sharing
- Blogging function
- Private web portal
- Create pages as images, e.g.
for use in Powerpoint
- Create printed pages via
PDF export
- Page builder for posters/scrapbooking
