Free-Format templates
To insert a new object on your webpage select the + icon on the top page options bar, then select the type of object. The new object will appear in the top right of your webpage, ready for you to drag it into your desired position.
Auto-Format templates
The 350pages auto-format layouts are variable width templates designed to automatically adjust to the viewer's browser screen and text size to display the best layout for each viewer. So when you add extra objects then you are assured that the webpage will automatically adjust properly for best viewing.
To insert an object on your webpage hover over an object near to where you wish to insert the new object then click on the + in the object's menu bar that appears. You will have the option of inserting a number of different objects and utilities onto your webpage. If you are hovering over a graphic or image and you click the Insert button, you will also find an option that allows you to insert a copy. Choose the type of object you wish to insert by clicking the relevant radio button to select it, and then select either the Before or After buttons to insert the item either before or after the currently selected item.
Selecting the Replace button will remove the currently selected object and replace it with your chosen new object. If you replace an existing graphic with another graphic, 350pages will attempt to inherit the properties of the previous object - text, size and color. This also applies to text if you replace a paragraph with a graphic or vice versa. The editor for the new object will open so that you can make changes to the new object on your page.
If you wish to wrap your text around an image, then add the image 'before' the text and then use the positioning on the photo's object editor to set it relative to the text.
Inserting an image above/below/replacing a heading graphic will stretch the heading background accordingly. This applies to all templates that have multiple stretching areas. To reduce the heading background simply reduce the size of the new image.
If you add floating objects using the add option on the top editor bar then you should check what the page looks like when the browser is at different sizes - bearing in mind that the objects in the pre-designed layouts will automatically adjust to the viewer's browser but the floating objects will stay where you put them.
