Object Properties
The Object Properties dialog allows you to set a number of additional properties to an object to tweak the layout and presentation of an item.
It also features the Floating option that will allow you to detach an object from its current position. You can then drag that object with your mouse to a new position on the page as well as resize it as you would any window, giving you complete freedom on the look of your page.
The object properties menu is divided into three different tabs. Not all options are available on certain types of items.
The options in the Main tab are detailed below:
- Floating
- For more information on floating objects, please look at this help page.
- Link Type and Link To
- This drop down menu allows you to set the link to be a page or item in your File Manager, or an external web address or e-mail address. If you set either of the latter options detailed above, then you will need to enter the web/e-mail address in the Link To box below the drop down menu.
- Align
- This changes the alignment of this object in the same way as the options you can see from the editing menu when hovering over an object.
- Transparency
- This can be set to create a partial or total transparency of the object you are editing. It can be set from 0% to 100%.
- Background Color
- Sets the background color of the current object you are editing (if possible)
- No Background
- Will deselect all background color from the object. Perfect for overlaying items onto others.
The options in the Border tab are detailed below:
