The File Manager is a catalogue of every file that you have created and/or uploaded. This includes the pages of your website, images, videos, audio and other files which you may have included on your webpages. You can manage and select to edit your files from within the File manager.
You can see your files in this icon view or click here to see the features of the List view.
In the icon view, you can see your folders and files in categories. The folders are at the top, followed by your webpages, then images and then all other files. You will see thumbnail images of your webpages and images. In the top left of the webpage image you will see a P to inform you that the webpage has been published. To see a preview of the webpage click on the P icon. Clicking on any webpage or image will load the editor for that particular file.
The horizontal bar at the top of the File Manager provides further options for your files. For further information on each function, please click here or click the help button for each option.

TipWhen you click on a folder, the display of the File Manager will switch to show the contents of that folder. You can navigate back to your main folder by simply clicking the Main link above the file list, or any folder in the tree by clicking on its name. You can also go up a level by clicking on the Up button; this is helpful if you have a folder within a folder and only wish to go back up one level rather than back to your root view. |

TipAt the top of the File Manager is your Quota Recorder. This shows you how much of your allocated space you are using. If you attempt to upload a file that will exceed your space limit, it will fail to upload. You can buy more webspace from within My Account. |
