The New Page creation screen is the starting point for building a webpage. Whether you are starting your website, or adding further content to it, this screen enables you to select a template, layout and theme color for your new webpage.
There are two stages to the template selection:
Stage 1: Choose your template style.
At the top of the page is a range of free-format templates where you can start off with a blank styled page and completely design your own layout. Alternatively, you can select a customizable template set which has many free-format and auto-format layouts for you to personalize.
You can select to display a category of templates from the drop down menu:
- - popular
- - free (the templates available to all users)
- - premium (templates available only to users of the full 350pages)
- - banner heading
- - bordered

There may be additional categories depending on the type of account you have with us.
Click on the template family that you wish to use and then you will be presented with the layout picker:
Stage 2: Choose your template theme color.
At the top are various color themes. Click on a color theme and the thumbnail images of the layouts will change to reflect your chosen color. Users of the full 350pages will be able to alter the individual element colors further during the page editing process.
Stage 3: Choose your template layout.
The layout picker window shows the free-format template styles followed by the auto-format template styles that are available to users of the full 350pages. The auto-format layouts are variable width templates whose content automatically adjust when you insert new content or change the size of the content. Using the variable width template option will also ensure ensure that the contents of your web page automatically adjust for viewing on any size monitor.
Hover your mouse pointer over any of the layouts to see a larger preview image in the bottom section of the picker window. You can either click on your chosen template in the top section of the window or on the larger image in the bottom section to load the editor.

TipYou should pick a template with the layout you require in mind rather than color and graphics as these can be fully customised whilst editing. |
 |
TipSome templates feature Banner Headings instead of Graphic Headings. These are different as they are predesigned graphics to fit across the entire width of the webpage with only the heading text able to be edited. |
