Text Editor

The Text Editor enables you to add and format text for your webpages. The editor is presented in a similar way to a word processor for familiarity. There are three tabs - edit, link and HTML. In each of these tabs, you will still have access to the text box so that you can type your content, but the editing and formatting options available to you will change from tab to tab. Clicking anywhere inside the box will insert a cursor at that point, from where you can start typing.
Edit Tab
* Some browsers do not allow you to use the cut, copy and paste buttons for security reasons. You can find out more about this problem and how to resolve it here.
** Pasting text from word-processors, such as Microsoft Word, into any other editor often produces imperfect html resulting in some strange effects. To overcome this you should create or copy the text into a Notepad file, and then copy it from Notepad into 350pages.
From left to right, the bottom row of options are as follows:
To the right of these options are two drop down menus where you can change your font and font size. Highlight the text you wish to format by holding down your left mouse button and dragging the cursor across the section of text you wish to change, and then select the font and font size you desire from the drop down menus.
Link Tab
You can link any part of your text to a file or page in your 350pages, or an external file or an email address. Highlight the text you wish to link and choose the link type from the drop down menu. If you select a 350page or object a drop down menu will provide you with a list of your files for your selection. Enter the web page or email address, if you have chosen that type of link. Then click the Link button next to the Link type to apply the link.
HTML Tab
You can add HTML to your text or change the HTML produced by 350pages. This is for advanced users only and you risk damaging or corrupting your pages if you do not have a good knowledge of HTML coding. You may want to consider adding the HTML as a HTML Snippet - please click
